Stolen ambulance from Las Vegas Fire & Rescue involved in crash

A Las Vegas Fire & Rescue ambulance that was involved in a two-vehicle collision this morning in North Las Vegas was originally stolen in downtown Las Vegas, according to Metro Police.

Minor injuries were reported in the collision that occurred at Centennial Parkway and Pecos Road, police said. The incident was reported about 6:15 a.m.

The suspect, who police say stole the vehicle in the 400 block of Fremont Street, has been taken into custody, police said.

Metro’s investigation is ongoing, the agency said.

It didn’t indicate when the ambulance was stolen.
