Gunner Cortez completed 9 of 13 passes for 270 yards and two touchdowns Friday for the Virgin Valley football team in a 59-19 victory against The Meadows.
Decker Lee rushed 16 times for 150 yards and three touchdowns, and also had an interception return for a score to help Virgin Valley win its fifth straight game.
Chase Otteson had touchdown receptions for 51 and 80 yards, and Kurt Felix also had an interception return for a score.
“We’ve got some big games (ahead of the schedule),” coach Matt Woods said. “There’s plenty of things we’ll look to fix.”
