The Basic football team scored on all six of its possessions in the first half today in a 45-20 victory against Durango.
Quarterback Anthony Vega passed for four touchdowns, hooking up with Brandon Griffin, Boston Wren, Demarion Matthews and Chrey Traylor. Wren and Griffin also had rushing touchdowns.
The Wolves led 42-0 at halftime.
“This is the best we have executed (offensively) all year,” Basic coach Jeff Cahill said.
Basic improves to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in league play.
