Quinten Larry had three rushing touchdowns today for the Desert Pines football team in a 35-14 win against visiting Silverado.
Greg Burrell rushed for a touchdown for Desert Pines, and Luey Jaime had a receiving touchdown from AJ Stowers. Coach Tico Rodriguez was happy with how his team played, but said they left some points on the field.
“We need to play cleaner,” the coach said. “We had a few touchdowns called back.”
Desert Pines was able to pull away in the second half.
“Credit to Silverado,” Rodriguez said. “They had a good game plan. They slowed the game down and ran the ball to keep our offense off the field.”
