A suspect has been charged in a Las Vegas bystander’s death from a stray bullet in July, a Metro Police news release announced today.
Devin Mansch, 19, was identified by police as a suspect in shooting death. He was taken into custody on Friday and was booked into Clark County Detention Center on charges of murder with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit murder and discharge a gun into occupied structure.
The incident occurred the night of July 15. The victim, who was determined to have been shot by a stray bullet, was taken to a hospital by friends before officers arrived in response to a call to dispatch, the release stated. The victim was later transported to Sunrise Hospital, where he died.
According to police, the victim was an innocent bystander and was shot by a stray bullet from a shooting that occurred in the 9500 block of Rolling Thunder Avenue.
Police did not specify Mansch's suspected role in the shooting incident.
