A man was fatally shot after a reported verbal altercation with two others Sunday in Las Vegas, according to a Metro Police news release.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting near East Utah Avenue and South 3rd Street shortly before 5 p.m. Sunday.
Arriving officers found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound near the intersection.
Medical personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Police stated that they believe the victim was involved in a verbal altercation with two other men before he was shot. Both suspects fled on foot from the area before officers arrived, the release stated.
The suspects were not identified by police and remain at large.
