Isaiah Lauofo and Andre Porter had touchdown runs today for the Liberty football team in a 24-6 win over host Arbor View.
Jayden Robertson caught a 60-yard pass from Tyrese Smith for Liberty’s other points, giving the Patriots the No. 2 seed for the playoffs in two weeks. First, they close the regular season next week against Shadow Ridge.
“Offensively, we probably should have scored a lot more,” coach Rich Muraco said. “We didn’t execute in the passing game and that kind of killed some drives. We definitely have some things to improve on.”
Muraco praised his defense, which prevented Arbor View from moving the ball, he said. Arbor View is battling injuries to key performers on offense.
