A man was shot and killed in northeast Las Vegas late Saturday night following a verbal altercation with the suspect, Metro Police said this afternoon.
Officers were called about 11:21 p.m. Saturday to 5200 block of Silverheart Avenue near Charleston and Nellis boulevards to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel, police said.
The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. No description of the suspect was given.
