Malachi Johnson rushed for three touchdowns and 202 yards tonight for the Somerset Losee football team in a 44-29 victory against visiting Mojave in the second round of the Class 4A playoffs.
The win gave Somerset, a second-year program, 10 wins on the season.
“Super proud of our kids,” coach Dan Barnson said. “Couldn’t ask more for a second year program.”
RJ Olivieri, Levi Sessi and Kieran Daniel also had rushing touchdowns for Somerset, who next week plays Centennial for the Desert League regional championship.
