Two floors at Mandalay Bay were temporarily evacuated Wednesday night after a small fire at the Las Vegas Strip resort, according to the Clark County Fire Department.

No injuries were reported, officials said.

Firefighters were dispatched after reports about 11 p.m. of smoke near the roofline of the resort, officials said.

Crews found a small fire at the “top of the stairwell shaft on the roof and exterior to the stairwell” and quickly extinguished it, officials said.

The property’s smoke removal systems activated and kept smoke on the interior of the building to a minimum, officials said. However, two floors were temporarily evacuated as a precaution, officials said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, and no dollar amount of damage has been determined, officials said.
