The Silverado football team won for the second time in as many weeks, using three touchdowns and an interception from Marcus Council in a 30-22 win against visiting Basic.
The senior Council had two receiving and one rushing touchdown, helping the two-time defending state champions extend their winning streak. They haven’t lost since 2019.
DJ Elliot passed for 231 yards and two touchdowns, and RJ Soto passed for 103 yards and two scores. DJ Hagans had seven receptions, including one for a touchdown, and an interception.
Tristan Hudson also had a receiving touchdown and an interception.
