There was a report of a suspicious item discovered near Las Vegas government offices that has since been rendered safe, according to a Metro Police release.
The area of South Casino Center Boulevard and East Clark Avenue was shut down to vehicles and pedestrians as Metro Police investigated the suspicious item, which was located near City Hall, the Justice Court, Municipal Courthouse and Municipal Courts.
There were no evacuations, and Metro Police said vehicle and pedestrian traffic would reopen as soon as emergency vehicles leave the area.
