Raiders star Davante Adams will be brand ambassador for MGM Resorts International, which will feature the first-year Las Vegas wide receiver in company marketing campaigns and digital content initiatives.

Adams is the first active NFL player to be an ambassador for MGM, the company said.

“Davante is a class act both on and off the field and has built a strong fan base,” Lance Evans, MGM senior vice president of sports and sponsorships, said in a statement. “We are excited to welcome one of the NFL’s elite players to the family and look forward to his future engagements with our MGM Rewards members.”

Adams arrived in Las Vegas in March on a five-year, $140 million contract after eight seasons with the Green Bay Packers. He led the NFL in touchdowns in 2020 and established a Green Bay record last year with more than 1,500 receiving yards.

He had 10 catches for 141 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 against the Chargers.

As part of the agreement with MGM, Adams will participate in select MGM Rewards special events at MGM Resorts’ Las Vegas and regional properties, the company said.

“From Day One, the MGM Resorts team welcomed my family and me to Las Vegas with open arms,” Adams said in a statement. “It’s truly an honor to be the first active NFL athlete to partner with this world-class company and to continue building a legacy in this new city I am privileged to call home.”
