Silverado’s Donavyn Pellot is making the argument that the state’s best player is in the class 4A.
Pellot had five touchdowns tonight in a 61-7 victory over Sierra Vista, scoring three rushing touchdowns, one receiving and one on a punt return.
Caden Harris also scored on a punt return, as defending state champion Silverado improved to 3-0. It hasn’t lost since 2019.
Marcus Council had a rushing touchdown for Silverado and also scored defensively on a fumble return. And Jayland Mcglothen and Tau Epenisa each had three sacks.
