Michael Diggs had a pair of rushing touchdowns tonight for the Chaparral football team in a 33-6 victory against visiting Del Sol for the Cowboys’ first win of the season.
“We still have some mistakes that we need to clean up, but we were able to overcome those mistakes tonight,” coach Don Willis said. “We are headed in the right direction.”
James Donham and Christopher Leafdale added rushing touchdowns for Chaparral (1-2), who only attempted one pass for the game.
The Cowboys recorded a special teams touchdown when Steven Johnson blocked a punt and Kiemaria Cooley recovered in the end zone.
