Harry Reid International Airport tallied nearly 4.8 million arriving and departing passengers in September, an increase from the 4.3 million travelers who went through the airport during the pre-pandemic month of September 2019, according to a report released today by the Clark County Department of Aviation.
And when compared to September 2021, last month’s figure represented a 26% increase.
International travel also continued its climb back in September, as just under 259,000 departing and arriving international passengers traveled through the airport last month. That’s a nearly 200% increase from September 2021.
In total, the airport this year has counted 38.5 million passengers. It is on pace to surpass an airport-best 51.5 million passengers in 2019.
