Las Vegas attracted just under 3.6 million visitors last month, according to the city’s tourism bureau.

That’s up 14% from September 2021 but about 3.5% lower than the September 2019 pre-pandemic visitation total, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

In August, Las Vegas drew close to 3.2 million tourists.

With October, November and December yet to be tallied, Las Vegas has attracted about 28.8 million visitors this year, which puts it on pace to surpass last year’s visitor total of 32 million.

In 2019, the last full year with no coronavirus-related tourism disruptions, Las Vegas welcomed over 42 million visitors.
