Shadow Ridge heads into playoffs with 8-game winning streak

The Shadow Ridge football team led by four touchdowns after the first quarter tonight against Spring Valley in a 42-0 victory.

The Mustangs recovered a fumble and scored two plays later in winning their eighth consecutive game. They also blocked a punt, as “the defense played really, really good,” coach Travis Foster said.

Jon Wilson led the offense with two rushing touchdowns, while JaQuieze Holland, Davison Glenn and Julian Medina also rushed for scores.

Shadow Ridge has a bye next week to open the playoffs. It will play the winner of Spring Valley and Cimarron-Memorial in the second round.
