The Spring Valley football team forced seven turnovers tonight against Mojave and recorded its second shutout of the season in a 14-0 win.
“We got turnovers. We got timely defensive stops,” Spring Valley coach Marcus Teal said.
The Grizzles also scored on defense when Kelze Howard had a fumble return for a touchdown. Spring Valley also had four interceptions.
Offensively, Xavier Moore had a 7-yard touchdown run.
“We were really having a good defensive night, but our offense was out of sync,” Teal said. “We have to be better, and we will be better for sure.”
