Police: 2 shot, 1 fatally, in Las Vegas restaurant

A man was shot to death and a woman critically wounded Tuesday in a shooting at a Las Vegas restaurant, according to Metro Police.

The shooting was reported about 7:50 p.m. in the 10300 block of West Charleston Boulevard, police said.

The suspect approached the man, pulled a gun and shot him multiple times, police said. He was dead at the scene, police said.

The man appears to have been specifically targeted by the suspect, police said.

During the shooting, the woman was also struck, police said. She was taken to University Medical Center, police said.

The suspect fled before officers arrived, police said. No arrests were announced.

The victims’ identities were not released, but police said they were a 40-year-old man and a woman who worked at the restaurant.

There were no customers in the restaurant at the time of the shooting, police said.
