CityCenter is selling a 2-acre plot of undeveloped land at its Las Vegas Strip campus to another company to build a retail complex with speciality stores and restaurants.

CityCenter, a venture between MGM Resorts International and Infinity World Development Corp., has entered into an agreement to sell the parcel for about $80 million to 636LVB, a company owned by local retail developers Brett Torino of Torino Development and Paul and Dayssi Kanavos of Flag Luxury.

The deal is expected to close this quarter.

The property is part of the CityCenter campus and sits adjacent to the Shops at Crystals at the corner of Harmon Avenue and the Strip.

Arquitectonica, a Miami Beach architecture firm, has been selected to design a multilevel retail complex compatible with the rest of CityCenter.

CityCenter is a mixed-use development that includes the 4,004-room Aria, as well as the Vdara Hotel and Spa, and the Veer Towers condominiums.
