Henderson Police are investigating a shooting that left two people wounded Monday evening outside a restaurant on Eastern Avenue.

Henderson spokeswoman Michelle French said officers responded about 7:35 p.m. to reports of gunfire in the parking lot between the Black Mountain Grill, 11021 S. Eastern Ave. at Sunridge Heights Parkway, and Wendy's.

French said two male victims were taken to Sunrise Hospital, one in extremely critical condition and the other with a minor gunshot wound to the thigh.

Police did not say what may have led to the incident. They were looking for two men in the shooting, officials said.

There were no traffic restrictions in the area as police investigated; Wendy's was closed immediately and the Black Mountain Grill remained open.
