Metro Police are seeking information on three people they say are connected to shooting death of a man at an extended stay hotel near Nellis Air Force Base this morning.
Police say a group of people in a black Volkswagen Jetta with gold rims and Arizona license plates pulled into the hotel parking lot, in the 4500 block of North Nellis Boulevard, at about 2:30 a.m.
The people in the group, whom the slain man knew, tried to get someone to come outside. Officers say the person came out when the group of people started damaging a car in the parking lot.
Police say Colton Brantano, 21, fired shots and took off with two people who were with him.
Metro released photographs of 21-year-old Jared Busch and 21-year-old Sherri Esquibel and called them "persons of interest," but didn't elaborate on how they were involved.
Sgt. Richard Strader says there was a fight before the shooting, possibly about drugs.
