A Veterans Day appreciation event featuring a car show, barbecue and variety stage show will be held Wednesday at the North Las Vegas VA Medical Center.
The free event, which is open to the public, will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Flu shots, blood-pressure screenings and information about VA programs will be available to registered veterans. A “Kids’ Korner” will be on site, too.
The North Las Vegas VA Medical Center is located at 6900 N. Pecos Road.
