This woman is suspected in a burglary at a Laughlin school, Monday, Oct. 2, 2015.

Metro Police are searching for suspects who burglarized a Laughlin elementary school and stole a school district minivan, officials said.

The department's resident officers in Laughlin responded at 12:14 a.m. Tuesday to Bennett Elementary School, 2750 Needles Highway, after a burglary alarm sounded.

Using surveillance video, officers determined the male and female suspects arrived in a dark-colored sport utility vehicle and entered the school about 11:30 p.m. Monday. The pair removed multiple items, which police did not identify, from the school and left in the stolen minivan and dark-colored SUV, police said.

Officers described the first suspect as a black or Hispanic male in his late 20s who was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored shorts. His accomplice was a white female in her late 20s who was wearing a multicolored tank top, dark pants and possibly a back brace and bandage on her left hand.

The stolen school district vehicle is a white 2014 Dodge Caravan with CCSD markings on all sides, along with the number "2263" on the front and rear bumpers.
