Man hurt in hit-and-run at Venetian parking garage

A man was injured in the Venetian parking garage this afternoon in a hit-and-run accident, Metro Police said.

Police received a report about 12:30 p.m. of the accident in the hotel garage at 3355 South Las Vegas Blvd., Officer Laura Meltzer said.

The man suffered a leg injury and was taken to St. Rose Dominican Hospital — San Martin Campus before officers arrived, Meltzer said.

The injury does not appear to be life-threatening, she said.

Police did not have a description of the vehicle, which left without stopping, Meltzer said.
