Police: Burglars crash into south valley credit union, fail to steal ATM

One person was arrested after suspects backed a pickup truck through the front window of a south valley credit union in an attempt to steal an ATM machine, according to Metro Police.

Police were called about 5 a.m. to One Nevada Credit Union near Blue Diamond Road and Decatur Boulevard, Officer Larry Hadfield said.

The suspects tried unsuccessfully to pull the ATM into the vehicle, he said.

One suspect, whose age and gender were not immediately available, was arrested, he said.

Police are still looking for two other suspects, who fled the scene and evaded police during a search, Hadfield said.
