Metro Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man they say robbed a convenience store in the area of West Sahara Avenue and Arville Street last month.
The man went to the store about 4:35 a.m. on Sept. 21 and pulled a handgun on the clerk, demanding money, according to a Metro Police news release. The clerk complied and the man took off on foot, police said.
The suspect was described as a bald Hispanic man, 20 to 25 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket with red sleeves, dark jeans and gray shoes.
Police ask anyone with information about the robbery call Metro at 702-828-3591 or to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or online at crimestoppersofnv.com.
