A man is dead after an automobile-pedestrian accident in the northeast valley, officials said.
The accident was reported about 7:20 p.m. near the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and Toiyabe Street, Clark County Fire Department Deputy Chief Roy Session said.
The woman driving the vehicle has been taken into custody, Metro Police Lt. Joel Martin said.
Martin was unable to comment on the exact charges.
Metro officers from the fatal and traffic details are investigating the incident.
Lake Mead is closed in the area of Bonnie Lane, and Toiyabe is closed from Lake Mead to Judson Avenue, Martin said.
