Remains at Lake Mead identified as those of Las Vegas man

The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified a man's remains that were discovered by kayakers in October.

Two bodies were found Oct. 18 in different parts of the Lake Mead National Recreational Area.

One of the bodies belonged to Charles Finnley III, 45, of Las Vegas. His remains were discovered by Stewart's Point Cove at Lake Mead.

Finnley's cause of death is pending, the coroner said.

Officials did not mention the investigation related to the other body.
