A 19-year-old man died and another teen was injured Sunday night in a motorcycle wreck in northeast Las Vegas.
Metro Police responded about 7:20 p.m. to the crash on Judson Avenue, near East Lake Mead Boulevard.
The 19-year-old was driving the motorcycle west on Judson with a 14-year-old passenger, when he reached a bend in the roadway, police said. After making the bend, the motorcycle ran off the right side of the road and hit a lamp post on the sidewalk, police said.
The driver was ejected, while the 14-year-old boy on back was trapped underneath the bike as it slid along the sidewalk, police said.
Both teens were transported to University Medical Center, where the 19-year-old died and the boy was treated for serious injuries, police said. Their names were not released.
