Area of accident
A dump truck hauling construction equipment overturned this morning on eastbound 215 Beltway near Jones Boulevard, snarling traffic on the highway for nearly two hours.
Nevada Highway Patrol responded about 8:15 a.m. to the overturned truck. The truck was traveling east on the highway when the driver lost control and the truck flipped onto its side, blocking the right two lanes, Trooper Loy Hixson said.
Traffic was backed up on the 215 Beltway from Jones to Rainbow Boulevard, Hixson said. Tow trucks cleared the truck from the road about 10 a.m.
No one was injured in the accident.
