A rollover accident at Lake Mead Recreational Area on Saturday evening left a 28-year-old woman dead and a man injured, the National Park Service said.
The Lake Mead National Recreation Area Interagency Communication Center received a call reporting the accident at 10:44 p.m. on Lakeshore Road, near mile marker 9.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and the female was flown by Mercy Air to a nearby hospital, where she later died. Her identity will be confirmed after the next of kin have been notified.
The man was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance.
The Nevada Highway Patrol and the National Park Service are investigating the accident.
