Work to fix damaged barrier rail will close I-15 lanes, off-ramp tonight

A portion of Interstate 15 will be shut down tonight while crews fix a barrier rail that was damaged during a wreck.

Officials with the Nevada Department of Transportation say all but one of the highway's northbound lanes will be closed between the Spaghetti Bowl and Washington Avenue from about 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. The highway's northbound exit to D Street and the U.S. 95 southbound off-ramp to northbound Interstate 15 will also be closed.

Motorists are advised to exit on Lake Mead Boulevard if they're traveling north on Interstate 15. Southbound motorists on U.S. 95 can take Las Vegas Boulevard and re-enter northbound U.S. 95 to take the on-ramp to Interstate 15.
