A driver rear-ended a Metro Police motorcycle about midnight Wednesday on the Las Vegas Strip while allegedly driving under the influence, Metro spokesman Larry Hadfield said.
The collision occurred near the Cosmopolitan, Hadfield said.
The officer on the motorcycle was transported to University Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The driver was arrested on DUI-related offenses and booked into Clark County Detention Center, Hadfield said.
