Metro Police's homicide unit is investigating the deaths of two elderly people whose bodies were found in a Summerlin residence.
Police received a report about 5:45 p.m. and responded to a house in the 9100 block of Firebird Drive, near Cheyenne Avenue and Rampart Boulevard, Lt. Joel Martin said.
Officers discovered a man and woman dead at the scene, he said.
Further details were unavailable.
Homicide investigators were called to do a follow-up investigation, Martin said.
