Identities of the man suspected of shooting his daughter and then himself Sunday morning in North Las Vegas have been released.

They were identified Monday by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as Gregory and Amanda Landis.

North Las Vegas Police responded to a report of gunshots about 5:15 a.m. in the 4100 block of Hollis Street, near Craig Road and Commerce Street. Officers arrived to find a 53-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman dead with gunshot wounds, North Las Vegas Police spokeswoman Chrissie Coon said.

Two other family members also were home at the time of the shooting, but neither was injured. The family had been in a heated argument during the night, when the father allegedly grabbed a gun and shot his daughter and then himself, Coon said.

The father and daughter were pronounced dead on the scene by medical personnel.
