The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the victim in what was reported as a murder-suicide Tuesday in Henderson, but not the suspect.
Renee Bissett, 47, died of multiple gunshot wounds and her death was ruled a homicide, the coroner’s office said Friday.
Henderson Police said Bissett’s ex-husband, a 54-year-old man who has yet to be identified, shot Bissett and then himself Tuesday afternoon.
The couple’s 13-year-old son was in an adjacent room in the house when the murder-suicide occurred, Henderson police said, and called 911. The incident occurred at Bissett’s Henderson home on the 100 block of Andada Drive.
Police found Bissett inside the house, while the man was found inside his car in front of the house.
The couple also has an 11 year-old boy, and both children were unharmed.
