Henderson Police sergeant arrested on DUI count

A Henderson Police sergeant was arrested Friday night in Henderson on a count of driving under the influence of alcohol, police department spokesman Keith Paul said.

Police Sgt. Lisa Mattingly was cited about 9:50 p.m. after she had bumped a car in front of her at the intersection of Gibson Road and Horizon Ridge Parkway, Paul said. Mattingly was also ticketed on a count of following a vehicle too closely, he said.

Mattingly is on administrative leave pending review of the incident, Paul said.

  1. Happened right near my house. My only thought is that she forgot that Henderson, a lovely city, is ruled by Mormons. The Mayor, half the City Council. My conviction is that in a city where 24/7 gambling and booze are allowed due to state laws, Henderson can only stop horrible things like a massage parlor near the seedy downtown. You messed up, girl.
