Authorities have identified a 73-year-old Las Vegas woman killed after her vehicle launched over casino landscaping and landed upside down in a street.
Clark County coroner's officials say Teresa Chang died of injuries from the crash that happened a little before 1 p.m. on New Year's Day.
Police say Chang's 1996 Lincoln Towncar was traveling through the parking lot of the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino when Chang apparently lost control and sideswiped an empty vehicle.
Authorities say the Towncar then drove through landscaping on the border of the parking lot and traveled onto Flamingo Road, where it hit a Nissan Altima.
Chang was pronounced dead at University Medical Center.
Police say the 44-year-old woman driving the Altima was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
