LAS VEGAS — Authorities say no weapons were found in a search of the Las Vegas home of a former Los Angeles police officer wanted in three killings in Southern California.
FBI Agent Patrick Turner said Friday that other items found after SWAT teams served a warrant Thursday at the two-story home about nine miles southwest of the Las Vegas Strip will be used to help in the manhunt for Christopher Dorner.
Dorner is suspected of killing a couple over the weekend in Orange County and opening fire at police officers early Thursday in cities east of Los Angeles. A Riverside police officer was killed.
An intense manhunt is focusing in snowy Big Bear Lake, about 200 miles west of Las Vegas.
That's where police found Dorner's burned-out pickup truck on Thursday.
