Man cloaked in hoodie is suspect in Henderson bank robbery

Henderson Police are searching for this man, suspected of robbing the Wells Fargo bank branch at 1411 W. Sunset Road about 1 p.m. Saturday.

Henderson Police are searching for a man suspected of robbing a Henderson bank while wearing a hoodie sweatshirt.

The man entered the Wells Fargo bank branch at 1411 W. Sunset Road about 1 p.m. Saturday. He handed the teller a note demanding money with the implication that he had a gun, and the teller complied, emptying her drawer, Henderson Police spokesman Keith Paul said.

The man then fled the bank.

No weapon was shown and no one was injured in the robbery, Paul said.

Police described the suspect as 6 feet 3 inches to 6 feet 4 inches tall, about 200 pounds and in his 30s. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt that shrouded his face, blue jeans, dark glasses and white and black tennis shoes. He had a white sock on his left hand, Paul said.
