I am glad to know that Gov. Brian Sandoval is choosing to do what is best for his constituency and the state, and not just his political party.
Even though Sandoval challenged the Affordable Care Act, he is doing what is best for Nevadans, given the situation, by choosing to expand Medicaid and to embrace a state-run health insurance exchange.
I thank Sandoval for his approach to “go along with the law of the land so Nevada will have more control of its own destiny.”
More politicians need to follow the example of Sandoval. We are going to continue to be in this mess as a nation if politicians continue to only be out for their own agenda and not the agenda that their constituents elected them to office to pursue. Politicians need to work together to lead this nation, and they cannot do this if they are only worried about their own careers.
We as the people do not want politicians in office who are only concerned about re-election and their own party. We want politicians in office to be our voice and work toward a better nation.
