Crash scene
A motorcyclist died today in a collision with a vehicle at the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Durango Drive.
Metro Police responded to the collision about 1:50 p.m. The motorcyclist was transported to University Medical Center, where later he was pronounced dead, Metro spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said.
The collision shut down the intersection of Charleston and Durango for about three hours while Metro investigated the incident. The intersection reopened about 6:30 p.m., according to a Regional Transportation Commission alert.
