The Las Vegas 51s dropped the last game of a four-game series at Nashville Friday, giving up two runs in the first inning of a 4-2 loss.
The 51s (60-52) managed just five runs in the four games in being swept, but still remained in first place of the Pacific Southern Division. They led Tucson and Sacramento by two game before Friday’s game.
The 51s recorded seven hits Friday, including two from Wilmer Flores. None of the hits were for extra bases.
Juan Centeno and Kirk Nieuwenhuis had run-scoring singles for Las Vegas, which continues its trip Saturday at Memphis.
