The Clark County coroner has ruled the death of a 31-year-old man at a homeless encampment in Henderson a homicide.
Henderson police homicide detectives began investigating after Timothy Sean Malloy's body was found about 6 p.m. Tuesday in a desert area near Lake Mead Parkway and Warm Springs Road.
Police spokesman Keith Paul said Thursday there was no immediate information about suspects in the case.
It's the second slaying in Henderson this year.
