Sun publisher sued over loan repayment

A sister of Sun Publisher and Editor Brian Greenspun is suing him for defaulting on a $2 million loan, court records show.

Attorneys for Susan Greenspun Fine filed the lawsuit Wednesday in Clark County District Court.

The loan was made from the Susan Greenspun Fine family trust to the Brian L. Greenspun and Myra B. Greenspun family trust. The loan was required to be repaid within 15 days of its due date on March 24, the promissory note indicated.

Greenspun's lawyer, Leif Reid, said in an email that he couldn't comment on a matter before the court other than to say the lawsuit stems from an ongoing family quarrel.

Fine's attorneys, Nicholas Santoro and Andrew Glendon, could not be reached for comment.
