Man who claimed to have bomb robs bank

A man with a rolling suitcase handed a teller a note saying he had a bomb and demanding money from a bank in the area of Boulder Highway and Nellis Boulevard, Metro Police said.

The robbery happened about 12:45 p.m. Friday. The teller complied, and the suspect fled, police said.

Police said the suspect is a black man, 30 to 40 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and 180 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a dark, camouflage do-rag, a gray T-shirt and blue jeans.
