Metro seeks help in identifying bank robber

Police are asking for help identifying the suspect who robbed a bank near East Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane on Sept. 4.

Metro Police is seeking the public’s help in identifying the man who robbed a central valley bank Tuesday afternoon.

The robbery occurred about 5:30 p.m. near East Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane, according to a Metro news release issued Thursday. The man went up to a teller window and presented a note demanding money. After the teller complied, the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot-1 white male in his late 30s with a muscular build. On a surveillance video, he is wearing a red baseball cap with an unidentified emblem on the front, a black T-shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.

Police urge anyone with information to call Metro’s robbery detail at (702) 828-3591 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
