Crash
A Las Vegas woman died Monday night after her vehicle rolled over in North Las Vegas, throwing her from the drivers seat.
The 38-year-old woman was traveling south on Aliante Parkway, near Grand Teton Drive, when she drove off the road, North Las Vegas Police said. Her name was not immediately released.
The 2002 Infiniti sport utility vehicle she was driving traveled about 340 feet before it rolled one time and ejected the woman, police said.
She was taken to University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead about 11 p.m., police said.
The woman was alone in the SUV. Police are investigating what caused the crash, which resulted in the fifth traffic fatality this year in North Las Vegas.
